Space available in our weaving studio

Want to join us?  We are 2 weavers (Alison & Junko) who have been weaving in our studio for the past 8 years, and we’re looking  to share our space with a few more weavers.

The vision is to create a open area work space where a total of 4-6 weavers can set up their looms and use the studio space to weave, collaborate, inspire and promote the craft of weaving through public events and social media.

The East Van Weaving Studio is located upstairs at 1310 William Street (corner of Clark & William) and is part of a larger art studio space that is home to 45 artists.
The studio itself is 450 sq. ft and the rent is $1266 per month. We don’t mind letting you know the total rent as we are not trying to make money on it, we’re more interested in creating a vibrant work space for weavers to share. The rental fee would be dependent on how many weavers would like to rent the space with us.  If we are 6, the rental fee would be $215. If we are 4, then the rental fee would be $320 per month.

We will have an open studio on Sat May 26^th and Sun May 27^th – 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
